Chinese smartphone and computer maker Lenovo will be introducing a new device in the "Vibe" series since Lenovo model number K52e78 was spotted in the listings of China's Telecommunication Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA).

Some of Lenovo's K52e78 features and specifications, as well as images, have been revealed at the TENAA listing. The leaked images show a large rear speaker on the lower reverse of the upcoming device, as well as a fingerprint scanner positioned under the rear camera and flash.

The TENAA listing for the Lenovo K52e78 shows a phone with a mid-range specification. A 1.8 GHz octa-core processor with chipset unspecified yet is powering the Lenovo K52e78 smartphone according to the listing. The handheld is going to have a 5.5-inch IPS display screen with full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is equipped with 2 GB of RAM on board and has a built-in 16 GB of internal memory storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB thru microSD.

The Lenovo K52e78 could feature with either 8 megapixels or 13 megapixels for the main camera and 8 megapixel for the front-facing snapper. The connection options of this device will include 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth, USB, and FM radio. The handset will also support GSM, CDMA, TD-SCDMA, LTE FDD, TD-LTE, WCDMA, and CDMA 2000 networks.

The TENAA listing has also revealed that the device will run on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It also shows the color option of the device including Gray, Gold, Silver, and White. The handset is slim and sleek in design since it only measures the dimension of 152 mm x 75.7 mm x 8.49 mm and weighs 165 grams.

Although all of these specs and features are still listed at TENAA, the company has not yet officially announced this device. Lenovo model number K52e78 specifications are  unconfirmed.
