HTC One M10 vs. Samsung Galaxy S7: Features, Specs and Price Comparison

The highly anticipated HTC One M10 is making the headlines again after being spotted with a 5.1-inch Quad HD display in an AnTuTu benchmark score. This specification beats that of Apple iPhone 6S and Samsung Galaxy S7.

The upcoming HTC device,, which will be called the One M10 or One 10, is expected to compete with the LG G5, iPhone 6S, and Galaxy S7. It will be officially launched at an HTC event on April 10.

HTC has expressed  optimism about the smartphone, saying it is very confident about its camera after watching the launch of LG G5 and Galaxy S7 at the Mobile World Congress in February.

The HTC One M10 is expected to look like the HTC One A9 with a slim all-metal unibody design with chamfered edges and Quad HD AMOLED display. It is said to come with a 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and IP68 certification for a water and dust proof body. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S7 sports a 5.1-inch screen with Super AMOLED display and 2K Quad HD resolution. It is also water proof and boasts of an Always on Display feature.

The Galaxy S7 comes with either a Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon 820 or octa-core Exynos 8890 chipset depending on the market, packed with 4 GB of RAM. The HTC One 10, on the other hand, is expected to feature a Snapdragon 820 chipset with 4 GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU for graphics.

When it comes to storage options, the Galaxy S7 offers 32 GB and 64 GB storage expandable up to 200 GB, while the HTC One M10 could come with 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB.

The HTC One M10 reportedly boasts of a 12 MP UltraPixel rear camera with laser autofocus and dual LED flash whereas the Galaxy S7 comes with a 12 MP rear camera with OIS and a Dual Pixel feature.

The HTC One 10 is expected to be released with the Google Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 8.0 UI, while the Galaxy S7 come with the latest Android 6.0 OS as well.

Samsung offered free Gear VR headsets for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge pre-orders, while the HTC device will also support Vive VR headsets. The price of the HTC One M10 could start from $700, while the Galaxy S7 starts at $865.
