Snapchat Rolls Out Massive Chat 2.0 Update

(Photo : Reuters) Snapchat Chat 2.0 brings over 200 new Snapchat stickers to choose from.
Snapchat has launched a massive update called Chat 2.0, delivering tons of new Snapchat Chat features.
The major overhaul for the popular messaging app will let the users to easily skip between video or audio calling, texting, sending photos, drawings or stickers and leaving audio messages in a continuous interaction with a friend.

With Snapchat Chat 2.0, the users can now start talking or video chatting instantly when both are in the chat. This will allow them to quickly go from typing to talking or video chatting. They can also send photos or videos that are not live as well. In addition, they can send stickers inside chat with the new Snapchat update. The text chat also received a significant upgrade, offering a new ability to upload multiple photos simultaneously as well as active hyperlinks.
There is also a significant change on the chat interface. It becomes more familiar and accessible to the users. The chat interface presents media that were seen elsewhere like stickers but it integrates in its own unique way. Snapchat said that the new design aims to put every form of input on equal footing, encouraging users to choose whichever one feels natural in the moment.
Chat 2.0 also includes changes in the Stories feature. Public snaps will automatically advance to the next story in the user’s feed. To stop this auto advance or Snapchat Story auto-play, they can swipe left to check the next story. It offers a lean back experience that encourages users to consume their feed as a single product and not just a collection of moments.
There are also over 200 new Snapchat stickers to choose from in this new update. Users can send these in chat to their. The new stickers add a lot of new options to communicate with images. There are a ton of these tucked into the new Chat 2.0 screen.
Snapchat also update its privacy policy. Users can check Snapchat Privacy Center for details on what is new. When you open Snapchat you need to agree to the changes before you can use the app. The latest version of Snapchat is currently available for download from iTunes and Google Play.
