The release of SHADYXV commemorating the 15-year anniversary of Shady Records, is met with much speculation and rumor stemming from possible 'information leaks' through Internet based platforms that this could possibly be Eminem's final gift to Hip-Hop, so to speak.
Eminem is set to release the SHADYXV compilation late November.

For some time, die-hard fans were aware of plans for a 2-disc set coming from Eminem and his label, but were met with much speculation as to what type of content each disc might hold.
Some believed that one disc would consist of clips and video from his recent showcasing in "The Monster Tour" with artist Rihanna. Others were anticipating new material from Eminem and the Slaughterhouse crew. Well, it is indeed going to be packed with new material from multiple artists including; Yelawolf, Eminem, D-12, and more - The compliments to the new material disc will be the record label's 'Greatest Hits' album.
However, this does not answer the questions that everyone is pulling their hair out over. - Is Eminem a.k.a. Slim Shady Retiring for good?
Recently, word has trickled down from some credible sources inside Em's music camp. The sources state this very well may be Shady's 'retirement' album, meaning, it could very well be his last. However, neither Eminem nor his business associates have confirmed these claims, so the validity to these statements is unknown at this time.
Chances are, these rumors are just as they are deemed; rumors - created by Eminem Fans and 'Stans' looking to build recognition on low traffic forums.
Many fans believe that Em is looking to stay relevant in the music industry as long as possible, and in the event of Eminem legitimately releasing this as his 'retirement' album, fans say they feel he will still colab' on tracks with other artists.
SHADYXV, the follow-up to 2013's 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2', is said to arrive on November 28th. Naturally, some are nicknaming this album "Black Friday".
