Chinese tech giant OPPO introduced its R5 smartphone to the Indian market this year. Following the launch of the R5 smartphone, the device has received positive feedbacks and good reviews from tech enthusiasts.

The design of the OPPO R5 smartphone is sleek and has a slim body structure as it only measures a dimension of 148.9 x 74.5 x 4.9 mm (5.86 x 2.93 x 0.19 in) and is 4.85mm thin. The device is very handy and suitable for travelling since it only weighs  155 grams (5.47 oz)

With regards to the overall specification of the smartphone, the device features a wide 5.2-inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen display with a 1080 x 1920 full HD resolution and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen panel. The smartphone comes in two model options - the quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 powered by Qualcomm MSM8939 SoC and the quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 Snapdragon 615 based processor.

The OPPO R5 smartphone is equipped with 2GB of RAM and has a built-in 16GB internal memory storage that is not expandable. It is powered by Adreno 405 graphics processor, capable of handling smooth 3D mobile gaming.

On the camera front, the R5 smartphone sport a 13-megapixel rear camera at the back with autofocus, LED flash, check quality capabilities and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling purposes. What makes this device more interesting is that the main camera is capable of capturing video up to 1080p@60fps and 720p@120fps.

Moreover, the device is fueled by a non-removable Li-Po 2000mAh capacity battery. Other features the device supports include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB v2.0, USB Host, accelerometer, proximity, compass and GSM/HSPA/LTE.
