Suicide Squad director David Ayer and his crew are reportedly reshooting scenes for the movie before its release date.
It was reported that the film's director wants to add more "humor and lightness" in some scenes. The move was made because of the alleged low reviews for the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." An insider said that "every joke in the movie is in the trailer."

"The reshoots are happening right now, as recently as this week, and that they're big, tens of millions of dollars big," New York Daily News reported.
Meanwhile, reshooting the Suicide Squad doesn't mean that the movie will be filled with jokes. Instead, the production team plans on "beefing up fun character moments and interactions," according to Australia Network News.
Fans will be able to witness director David Ayer's creation along with the cast featuring Will Smith, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Margot Robbie, and Jared Leto. The actors will be playing the characters in DC Comics who took suicide missions in exchange for their prison sentences.
On the other hand, the production team has not given an official comment whether the "Suicide Squad" release date will be pushed back or not. If the filming goes well, fans will be able to watch it on the big screen on August 5, 2016.
