Nintendo's 'Miitomo' is now available for Android and iOS smartphones worldwide.
Users that have an existing Mii or profile from their Wii U or 3DS can import it to their smartphones through a QR code. Those who do not have one can create a new account.
Nintendo explained how the app works in a statement saying "First, try answering the various questions your Mii will ask you. Your answers will then be shared with your friends."

"Sometimes you'll hear answers from your friends, too. If there's an answer that catches your attention, you can also leave a comment about it that will be shared with the person whose answer it is," the explanation continued.
A player can ask a question like, "If you could have one wish granted, what would it be?" Also, the game can be connected to Facebook and Twitter so users can invite more friends.
Players can create their own avatar in 'Miitomo', visit their friends and take pictures or Miifotos that can be posted online. Also, the social app has its own monetary system called Miitomo Coin, which can be used to purchase items in the game's store.
The coins can be used to buy clothes for avatars such as jackets, variety of shirts, shoes for the Mii. A player earns limited coins through logging in, commenting, listening and replying to messages.
The coins can also be earned by playing a mini-game called Mii Drop where users have to aim and drop a Mii to a certain spot to win a set of themed-outfit.
Although Nintendo's Miitomo is a free app, players who like to step-up the game can purchase 1,000 Miitomo coins for $0.99 or 67,500 Miitomo coins for $49.99.
Before the interactive-app went global, it was initially introduced in Japan on March 17 and quickly became a big hit with millions of downloads within three days. Because of the support and success, Nintendo's stocks increased by eight percent.
