The recently launched iPhone SE (Special Edition) is now available on Walmart for $299 - with a discount of $100.

Walmart is also offering a $100 discount on the iPhone 6, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus until June 30. Customers can buy the phones through a carrier installment plan from Verizon, Sprint or AT&T to take advantage of the offer. T-Mobile is not offering the same deal for subscribers.

The iPhone SE is open for pre-orders around the world already. It looks similar to 2013's iPhone 5, but the specs under the hood are almost the same as the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, which were launched online in September last year.

The iPhone SE comes with a 4-inch screen and Apple A9 SoC with 2 GB of RAM.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus sport a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display respectively. It comes in only 16 GB and 64 GB storage options. The iPhone SE has a 1642 mAh battery capacity. Whe the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus come with 1715 mAh and 2750 mAh battery capacities respectively.

Walmart is also offering a $150 discount for customers who would like to purchase the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S7 handsets through Verizon Wireless, Sprint or AT&T.
