Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OTA: Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge Receive Update

Samsung started rolling out the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow to the Galaxy S5 on March 21 all over the world. The update is also currently being released to the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note 4, and Note Edge.
Users of the Samsung Galaxy S5 in Trinidad and Tobago are now getting the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, while users of the Galaxy S5 in the United States is expected to start receiving the update next month through T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint and AT&T.

According to rumors, T-Mobile just finished the Android M testing process for the Galaxy S5. The Galaxy S5 Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update weighs 1.47 GB and comes incrementally.
The Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow upgrade will introduce new features such as the Google Now on Tap which will provide more accurate and better information to users and the Doze Mode which will enhance the device's battery performance while on standby mode. \
Other new features are Android Pay, a Tasks edge panel, Quick tools panel, improved app permissions, a new Silent mode and Chrome feature that will enhance user Web experience. It brings over 200 new emojis, Apps edge that lets users add ten apps, a wider edge panel measuring 260 pixels to 550 pixels, and People edge panel which will display contact names under user pictures.
Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 5 on Sprint also have started getting the latest Android M update while Verizon Wireless has started rolling it to the Galaxy Note 5. T-Mobile and AT&T, on the other hand, are expected to roll out the update very soon. Meanwhile, T-Mobile has confirmed that its Note 4 and Note Edge users will likely receive the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow in May.
