T-Mobile Offers ZTE Obsidian Smartphone for $46.99

Telecom company T-Mobile has announced that it is offering ZTE's affordable Obsidian device for only $46.99. The ZTE Obsidian smartphone is the most affordable handheld device T-Mobile has offered so far to its consumers.
The ZTE Obsidian smartphone is suitable for user's who are looking for budget-friendly device. Although the smartphone is cheap, it offers a slightly better hardware and performance than the Coolpad Rogue, which was priced at $59.99.

The design of the ZTE Obsidian smartphone is slim and sleek in appearance since it only measure a dimension of 5.4 x 2.7 x 0.4 inches (Height x Weight x Dimension) and weighs 4.9 ounces. The front panel of the device features a thick black bezel and a large bottom lip with capacitive buttons.
When it comes to the overall specification of the smartphone, ZTE Obsidian features a 4.5-inch display with 854 x 480-pixel resolution. The device is powered by 1GHz MediaTek MT6735M processor coupled with 1GB of RAM under the hood. It runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with ZTE's custom UI on top.
The smartphone supports LTE bands form 2, 4, and12, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity option. The Wi-Fi technology of the Obsidian smartphone can reach up to 22Mbps download speed and 17Mbps upload speed. However, Indoor speeds are on the lower side at 3Mbps down and 2Mbps up. The phone also supports Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi.
On the camera front, ZTE Obsidian features a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and 2-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video calls. In terms of the battery, the device can last up to 3 hours and 48 minutes when streaming full-screen video over Wi-Fi at maximum brightness.
