Previous Galaxy Note versions have been released around September in past years and it is expected that the Galaxy Note 4 will be coming soon. Industry analysts suggested that the Galaxy Note 4 will be introduced at a Samsung Unpacked event on Sept. 3 before the IFA 2014 and indeed, invitations were already sent with a huge clue: "Note the date." The Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 event will be in three cities including Beijing, Berlin and New York simultaneously at 3:00 PM CEST.

Sammobile said that the Galaxy Note 4's sensor system will have the Synaptics' Natural ID ssolution which divides the fingerprint scanner in two parts. The first part is at the home button where it reads the bottom part of the user's fingerprint. The second part reads the fingerprint at the screen's bottom part.

The Galaxy S5's fingerprint scanner can be used for Private Mode, Screen Lock, PayPal payments and Samsung Account Verification. There are also expected to be seen on the Galaxy Note 4 with additional features such as Web Sign-In and Fingerprint Shortcuts.

According to The Korean Times, the Galaxy note 4 has two models, a curved OLED display for specialty markets and a flat OLED display for the mass market. Along with the Galaxy Note 4 will be introduced UHD OLED televisions, home appliances and a Google Glass competition at the IFA 2014.

The Samsung Galaxy Note is said to have a 16 MP rear camera, Samsung Exynos 5433 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The device may also be dust- and water-proof with an ultraviolet sensor, iris scanner and a virtual reality headset named Samsung Gear VR. Samsung's S Pen stylus is also rumored to be included in the Note 4. Similar to the Galaxy S5, the Note 4 may cost about £550 to £600.
