The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Game Awards named “Fallout 4” as the best game of 2016.
Bethesda's not really new in winning the BAFTA Games Awards' grandest prize. In 2013, “Dishonored” won for best game. In addition, “The Last of Us” and “Destiny” were the winners of that prestigious category.

“Fallout 4” is an action-focused role-playing game set in Boston following a nuclear war. It contains hundreds of hours of storyline to explore. Sean Brennan, Bethesda’s European managing director, said that he did not expect that Fallout will win. The Fallout series has been nominated six times and this is its first win. The game has been one of the biggest franchises of the studio.
“I'm genuinely humbled to receive this on behalf of Todd Howard and Bethesda Game Studios,” said Sean Brennan.
There are 16 categories, including best game, British game and debut game. There are technical awards too for artistic and audio achievement, as well as story, music and game design. “Everybody's Gone to the Rapture” leads the awards with 10 nominations, followed by “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” and “Her Story” with seven nominations apiece.
