NBA star player Kobe Bryant bids adieu to his 20-year career played entirely for Los Angeles' purple and yellow. He played his final game on Wednesday at the Staples Center.

Even though we will never see the Black Mamba playing on the court again, we can still look at his many accomplishments and outstanding records.

1. Five time NBA champions

Kobe Bryant led the Los Angeles team to their five NBA championships wins in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009 and 2010. The list might have went on if he and Shaquille O'Neal never went separate ways.

2. Third in most points of all-time

Kobe ranks third on the NBA's all-time scoring list, alongside the likes of Michael Jordan, Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

3. First Olympic medals

Kobe is not only an ultra-decorated NBA member but also a two-time Olympics gold medalist, playing games with the "Redeem Team" in Beijing in 2008 and "Dream Team" in London in 2012. He could have captured more gold if participated in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics.

4. Four-time All-Star MVP

The Black Mamba has received the All-Star game Most Valuable Player (MVP) award four times in 2002, 2007, 2009 and 2001, with one from his hometown Philadelphia and another from Los Angeles. The 2009 award was shared with Shaquille O'Neal.

5. The 81-point game

Many NBA fans agree that the Laker's 2005-2006 season is one of the most unforgettable in sports. Bryant managed to score 81 points (second to Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point single NBA game in 1962) against the Toronto Raptors. The figure seems unbelievable (28-46 from the floor, 7-13 from the three-point line, 18-20 free throw line, and two assists), but it shows that Kobe really is as an all-time NBA champion.

6. One-time NBA MVP

The 2007-2008 season is obviously Kobe's all-around best season as he was even awarded the league's MVP. Although he has five NBA titles and 17 All-Star game appearances, he has grabbed only one NBA MVP award.

7. All-NBA Awards

Kobe has been chosen to play for 14 All-Star NBA teams (10 first team) and 12 All-Defensive team (nine times all-defensive first-team). The fact that he racked all 14 All-Star teams is not surprising for avid NBA fans, but joining the All-Defensive team 12 times reveals how Kobe is the one of the best competitors in the game history.

8. Youngest All-Star in NBA history

Kobe has been named the youngest to achieve several records. At 19 in 1998, Kobe played together with basketball legends Michael Jordan, Karl Malone and Reggie Miller in his first-ever All-Star game.
