Apple has announced the revamped informational resources section for its developer portal, along with a new section called “Making Great Apps for the App Store.”

The App Store makes it simple for users around the world to discover, download and enjoy your apps. Grow their business with resources designed to help them create great apps and reach more users.

Its “Making Great Apps for the App Store” section has four parts including Developer Insights, Planning, Guidelines and Submissions.

The Developer Insights provides success stories such as games maker Seriously, Evernote, Carrot Weather app developer Grailr and Smule. It consists of profile, company overview and interviews with developers. The Planning section provides information on how best to position their software for public debut. It would also offer help in building an App Store presence, conducting business in a digital storefront, expanding their audience and more.

Its Guidelines webpage links to a number of existing assets relating to the app review process, human interface and marketing guidelines, and rules covering Apple Pay and Apple Wallet. Lastly, its Submission aids the developer on how to submit their wares to the App Store in the Submissions section, which goes over app building with Xcode, review guidelines, app optimization, beta testing and the app submission process.

In addition, there are detailed guides on “Choosing a Business Model,” “User Acquisition Marketing with App Analytics” and “Choosing a Category.”

Cupertino-based tech giant is rolling out the new developer resources and there is a plan to expand the collection in the near future. Apple’s annual developer conference Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held from June 13 until June 17th in San Francisco.
