‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’ Version 1.09 Update Arrives for PlayStation 4

A new update for the widely popular 'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' video game has been released, much to the delight of thousands of fans. Aside from the much-needed update, the game also received a new downloadable content (DLC) dubbed Eclipse just one day after the update was rolled out.
The new update will upgrade the game to version 1.09. The update was released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 platform. It is still unknown when the update will be rolled out to the PC and Xbox One platforms. There are rumors that the Eclipse DLC will be released for Xbox One and PC by the end of May

Gamers will be prompted to install the update when they start their game. The latest 'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' update is over 1 GB. On the other hand, a new standalone DLC, which includes new set of maps, is around 7 GB.
The update was released on April 18 at around 1 PM Eastern time. The update was released just hours after the 'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' Eclipse DLC was rolled out.
Major updates will cover hacks, glitches and bugs that allow gamers to level up without properly following the game's mechanics.
In the Black Market, a fix was release to address the bug where the wrong portrait image appears for the MMA Specialist Theme. A patch to fix the bug where gamers can obtain more Cryptokeys than intended was also released.
In Zombies mode, an exploit that allows players to use the Death Machine indefinitely was fixed. The exploit that allows players to access multiple unintended areas was also patched.
In the Shadows of Evil map, the bug that allows players to be nearly invincible when riding the train was fixed. A handful of bugs with the Undead Man Walking GobbleGum was also addressed.
