Capcom has confirmed that the classic character Guile will be joining “Street Fighter V” by the end of April, bringing his epic theme along with him.

The arrival of Guile will also see the release of the first “Street Fighter V” DLC stage, which will very appropriately be Guile's Air Force Base. Owners of the season pass will be given the level at no charge, while everyone else will have the option of purchasing it for 70,000 FM [Fight Money].

Guile will come with his own Character Story and set of Trials, as well as an expanded repertoire of moves including a new ability called Faultless Move that enables him to advance in a crouch walk state while keeping his charge. In terms of his new attacks in Street Fighter V, his V-Skill is the Sonic Blade. It appears like an extension to his Sonic Boom attack and it can help power it up.

The V-Trigger is more excessive and allows Guile to throw multiple Sonic Booms at varying speeds. Its Critical Art attack is the Sonic Hurricane, which fires a massive and powerful version of the Sonic Boom. If the player has the V-Trigger active when starting the Critical Art, the game will get a power and range boost.

Guile was launched in 1991's “Street Fighter II,” and Capcom announced during PlayStation Experience 2015 that he would be one of six DLC characters for “Street Fighter V.” He will be available free to everyone until the arrival of the Zenny shop.

In addition to all this, the Japanese video game company has continued to work on the game’s matchmaking, making connecting to Battle Lounges easier and loosening restrictions on finding opponents.
