China Jails former Senior Official for Corruption and other reports on Political Scandal

In the microblog of Mr Lou he has posted that the official has been involved with questionable financial deals, fabricated his academic record and threatened to kill a former mistress.

Although Mr.Liu's downfall is a victory of the public for the effort that has done in exposing corruption in the internet, we cannot deny the fact the Chinese authorities have the power to control what is being published in the internet. And unless the details has been officially announced no serious allegations against senior leaders will appear in the internet.
In reality, Chinese bloggers have said that they are receiving physical and verbal attack because of exposing graft and corruption of Chinese officials.
In January, the Central Discipline Inspection Commission, the party's anti-corruption authority, has mentioned that they are open for public participation in fighting against corruption as longas people will declare their real names.
"Any real-name whistleblowing report will be prioritised and will be given a timely response", Cui Shaopeng, the commission's spokesman, told a news conference at the time.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has called for a crackdown on corruption, vowing to tackle it from the powerful "tigers" at the top to the "flies" at the bottom of the Communist Party

In June, Lei Zhengfu, a former official at the center of a sex tape extortion scandal, was jailed for accepting bribes.
Communist Party officials are not allowed to have mistresses, and the video says it all.Lei was sentenced in June . He will be jailed for 13 years.
A Beijing court has sentenced Liu Zhijun ,China's former minister of railways death, with a two-year reprieve, for bribery and abuse of power, China's state media reported last Monday, ending one of the country's highest-profile corruption cases in years.
