Middling team Shanghai Greenland Shenhua FC (1-1-3, 6 points) is set to host last season's China League One runners-up Hebei China Fortune FC (2-0-2, 8 points) at the Hongkou Stadium on April 24th, Sunday in a 2016 Chinese Super League season match.

Shanghai Shenhua has won only once in their first five games this season and so head coach Gregorio Manzano will look to improve his team's current standing as they face the Samba Kings this weekend.

The Flower of Shanghai is coming off a hard-fought 0-2 defeat in the hands of current league leaders Jiangsu Suning FC on the road last Saturday at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Center, as reported by Cri English.

Jiangsu defender Ren Hang scored a double late in the match, at the 83rd and 90th+1 minutes, to hand Greenland their first loss of the season.

The loss dropped Shanghai at the eighth spot of the current league table, tied on points with Tianjin Teda, Chongqing Lifan, and Hangzhou Greentown.

Meanwhile, Hebei China Fortune continues its good performances in the China top flight this season as they settled for a 1-1 tie with Shijiazhuang Ever Bright FC last Sunday at the Qinhuangdao Olympic Sports Center Stadium, via Soccerway.

Head coach Li Tie's side actually scored the opening goal of the game, courtesy of a strike from local striker Dong Xuesheng at the 34th minute off a brilliant cross by former Paris Saint-Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Shijiazhuang midfielder Feng Shaoshun was able to level the count at the 45th minute, though, to salvage the draw and a share of a point in the overall standings for both squads.

The predicted result is a close 1-0 decision for Shanghai Shenhua to hand Hebei China Fortune its first loss of the season.
