Huawei just released on its website a GIF teaser of Honor V8 to be launched on May 10, complete with its TENAA certification. Honor V8 might be showing its face outside the Asian markets as well with the company's distribution plans remain yet unclear.

A number one stand-out feature of the upcoming Huawei Honor V8 smartphone is its 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and dual lens camera. Honor V8 just passed through the TENAA certification process and revealed in photos are its design with some spec sheet information.

Currently, three devices, namely, KNT-AL10, KNT-TL10, and KNT-AL20, are listed with model numbers. On the one hand, a 5.7-inch TFT full high-definition display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels is featured on KNT-AL10 and KNT-TL10.

The 2.3 GHz octa-core processor which will be the Kirin 950 powers these devices with a 4 GB of RAM and a 32 GB of internal storage that can be expanded further up to 128 GB via microSD card. An expected Android 6.0 Marshmallow runs these devices with a dual rear camera of 12 megapixels that has dual tone LED flash and a front-facing camera of 8 megapixels.

Its connectivity options are 3G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, FM Radio, WLAN, USB, and infrared. Both devices will weigh 170 grams with the measurement of 157.00 × 77.60 × 7.75 mm.

On the other hand, a 5.7-inch TFT display with the resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels is sporting the KNT-AL20 model. A 2.5 GHz octa-core processor which will be the Kirin 955 is expected to power it with a 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB of internal storage.

All three devices will come with a 3400 mAh battery. These variants are expected to have a metal body and be painted in pink and gold colors with offers in the more traditional black and gray or silver choices as well.
