A new ZTE smartphone was spotted in China's telecommunication equipment certification authority (TENAA) with Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB RAM on board. The smartphone is suggested to be the successor to the previously released device called the ZTE Axon.
As per TENAA listings, the ZTE Axon 2 smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch QHD OLED display screen. The listing also shows that the upcoming handheld device is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The handset comes with a 64GB internal memory storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.

With regards to the camera, the smartphone is equipped with an impressive 20-megapixel main shooter with dual LED flash support coupled with an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone also comes with USB Type-C connectivity for charging. One thing that is not mentioned in the TENAA official listing is how exactly big the battery inside the smartphone, but it is expected that it would sport at least 3000 mAh.
TENAA is similar to the FCC in the United States and basically, when products cross TENAA or FCC for certifications, it is ready to hit the market soon. That only means that that the Axon 2 smartphone will get official at any time. There is no word yet on the official launch and the price of the smartphone at this time.
Meanwhile, ZTE recently announced its latest device in the market called the ZTE nubia Z11. The phone features a 5-inch display screen with 1080p resolution. The handheld device also has 3GB of RAM on board, Snapdragon 617 processor, 64GB internal storage, and a 2800 mAh internal battery. ZTE Nubia Z11 runs the company's very own Nubia OS 3.9, based on Android 5.1.1 operating system.
