Rumors have been swirling that Korean actor Lee Min-ho is leaving the entertainment industry temporarily for a military enlistment. The actor finally opened up about his plans in an interview with Sina Entertainment last Friday.
Reporters had been banned from asking the 28-year-old actor about his military enlistment, but Min-ho chose to disclose the issue on his own.

Min-ho said he has heard one of his fans has shaved her hair as a sign of loyalty and that she would wait for him for the duration of his military service.
The 'Heirs' star added that he was deeply moved by the fan's actions, but there is no definite plan for his time in the military.
"Her hair might have grown back by then," said Min-ho.
Min-ho has a huge fan base in countries such as China, Hong Kong, and Thailand. He catapulted to fame after appearing in 'Boys Over Flowers,' a TV adaptation of a popular Japanese manga, Hana Yori Dango.
Min-ho's other popular works include the hit movie 'Gangnam Blues' and an appearance in 'My Everything,' one of South Korea's popular music videos.
He is set to appear in a Chinese film titled 'Bounty Hunters,' which also stars top-billed actors such as Wallace Chung, Tiffany Tang and Karena Ng.
'Bounty Hunters' is slated to premiere in cinemas on June 9.
