Thai League champions Buriram United (0-0-5, 0 points) is already eliminated in the Group F competitions of the 2016 AFC Champions League. Even so, the team will look to score their first win in the final matchday of the tourney against Chinese Super League squad Shandong Luneng Taishan FC (3-1-1, 10 points) at the New I-Mobile Stadium in Thailand on May 4th, Wednesday.

Buriram lost to FC Seoul, 1-2, at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in South Korea during the previous matchday on April 20th, officially ending their participation in Asia's premier club tournament, via Soccerway.
Seoul scored the first two goals in the first half of the contest, courtesy of former Jiangsu Suning and Beijing Guoan import Dejan Damjanovic and local midfielder Yong-woo Park at the 24th and 43rd minutes respectively, to give the hosts a two-point spread at the break.
From there, the Thunder Castles were able to net a consolation goal at the 67th with a successful penalty kick from vice-captain Andres Tunez of Venezuela.
Both teams went scoreless the rest of the match as the South Korea capital city team gained the top spot of the Group F table while handing United their fifth straight loss in the group stage.
Meanwhile, Shandong Luneng edged J1 League side Sanfrecce Hiroshima, 1-0, at the Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium in China also on April 20th, as reported by Xinhuanet.
Brazilian striker Diego Tardelli provided the lone goal of the match at the 10th minute for head coach Mano Menezes' squad off an assist by Zheng Zheng. The win propelled Taishan Dui into the knockout stage of the tournament which will start on May 17.
The predicted result is a 2-0 victory for Shandong Luneng.
