Mi 5 Open Sale: Xiaomi's Flagship Smartphone Will be Available in India Without Registration

Chinese Smartphone maker Xiaomi has announced that it will hold the second open sale for its latest Smartphone, the Mi5, and the Redme Note 3 in India on May 4.
Indian customers can now buy the Mi 5, which has only been available via flash sale till date, without prior registration on the company's official website. The sale opens at 2 p.m. local time on May 4. Xiaomi sold over 100,000 units of its Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3 during flash sales last month.

The Mi 5 smartphone is priced at 24,999 Indian Rupees ($377 or 2440 Yuan). It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor running MIUI 7 based on Android Marshmallow. It sports a 5.15-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 428 pixels-per-inch and comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage.
"Well-loved by over 170 million users, MIUI has been deeply customized for Mi 5 and regularly introduces exciting new features that you'll fall in love with," the company said on its website.
The Redmi Note 3 and a 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank will also available on company's website along with Mi 5. A 2 GB RAM variant of the Redmi Note 3 with 16 GB inbuilt storage is priced at 9,999 Indian Rupees ($150, 976 yuan) while the 3GB RAM variant with 32GB inbuilt storage is priced at 11,999 Indian Rupees.
The device has a 16 megapixel camera on the rear with dual tone flash and 6P lens. It also has a 4 megapixel front camera for selfies. It is powered by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. The Redmi Note 3 will be available in black, white and golden colors.
