Chinese smartphone and computer manufacturer Lenovo has released the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system update for its Lenovo Vibe S1 smartphone.
Lenovo has been one of the slowest companies when it comes to updating its products to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, but it is slowing picking up pace. So far, this update has been made available in India and the United Arab Emirates. However, it is still unclear when it will make it to other countries.

This update is automatic, and users will be prompted by a notification once the new software is ready to be downloaded and installed.
Users who want to download this update need to use a Wi-Fi connection that is fast and stable since this operating system update is about 1.6GB in size. It is also advisable to back-up your stuff on a MicroSD card to avoid losing any data on your device.
Users should expect that the update will take a long time, and your devices will restart several times while it is applying the new operating system. Once the update is done, users will get all the latest features that Google packed into Marshmallow OS such as Doze Mode, App Standby for improved battery life, Now On Tap, the new permissions system, and so much more.
