The official teaser of South Indian superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming movie 'Kabali' has gone viral on YouTube and social media.

The one minute six-second video has got record 10 million views within three days of its release on YouTube. The hit counts currently stand at 10,255,292 views and soon it will touch magical 11 million figures. It has also received record three lakhs likes, another new record.

The makers of the gangster drama released the teaser on Monday. It attracted 40,000 viewers in first five minutes of its release and crossed one million views within few hours. It also crossed six million hits within 24 hours of its release.

Movie's producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu is elated with the exceptionally heartening response to the teaser. He gave all credit to 'undisputed king' Rajinikanth for new YouTube views record.

"Superstar Rajinikanth is the undisputed king, as he proved by shattering all the previous YouTube records for Indian Cinema. The phenomenal reception has been exceptionally heartening," producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu said.

"When the movie grosses such amounts, then as a producer one is obviously happy. I feel Kabali will do Rs 300 crore because the response has been tremendous. The number of theatres and viewers are set to increase for the movie and people will watch it many times," Thanu said in an interview with DNA India.

The movie, which also stars Radhika Apte, Attakathi Dinesh, John Vijay, Dhanika, Koshire, Roshan, Nassar and Winston Cho along with Rajinikanth, is slated to be released in July.
