The 11th episode of the American mystery-thriller series The Family titled "Election Day" will focus on the much-awaited elections, which will finally determine whether or not Claire Warren (Joan Allen) wins as Governor.

However, in true The Family fashion, the results of the election will not be the only thing that she needs to wrap her mind around. According to the synopsis, Willa Warren (Alison Pill) will share a "terrible secret" with her mother.

The relationship between Claire, her daughter Willa and Ben (Liam James) became shaky when Claire found out that Willa intentionally hid Ben's real identity. Although the family matriarch already knows that Ben is not her real son, she decided to keep it a secret as well.

At present, Claire's husband John (Rupert Graves) and her son Danny (Zach Gilford) are still not aware that Ben is simply pretending to be Adam Warren.

Meanwhile, ABC has released a teaser for the upcoming episode, which again hinted that Ben might have taken a liking to his "pretend sister," Willa. One of the scenes revealed in the trailer was of Ben just watching Willa sleep.

The first hint was in one of the previous episodes when Willa caught Ben spookily peeping in her room while she was putting on clothes.

The "terrible secret" that Willa will tell her mother might be about how Ben is creepily acting toward her. But there is also the possibility that it might have something to do with Ben hurting Adam, when they were still kept as prisoners by Doug (Michael Esper).

In other interesting The Family news, Hank (Andrew McCarthy) will find himself helping out Claire, especially when she talks to him about what he told Detective Meyer (Margot Bingham).

In episode 10, "Fun Ways to Tell Your Boyfriend You're Pregnant," Hank confided in Detective Meyer and disclosed that it was he who took Adam and Ben.

As for news about season 2, unfortunately, Premiere Date TV has listed The Family season 2 as pending, as ABC has yet to announce a renewal.

Catch The Family season 1, episode 11 on ABC on May 8 at 9 p.m. ET.
