Five straight Italian Serie A champions Juventus FC reportedly gave its resident midfielder Paul Pogba a 20-day deadline to decide whether he would stay with the Turin residents or not moving forward.

In an article by the Daily Express, it was mentioned that Juve gave Pogba "20 days to decide his future" as last season's English Premier League winners Chelsea FC are said to be interested in bidding for the 23-year-old France international in the summer.

Aside from Chelsea, Pogba is also wanted by La Liga powerhouse FC Barcelona and Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, according to the report.

Rumors were out that La Vecchia Signora will demand at least €100 million ($115 million) from those who are interested in acquiring the 6-foot-3 Lagny-sur-Marne, France native.

However, the report also clarified that Juve's priority is to still keep the French talisman and that the deadline is just a way for the team to avoid last summer's transfer saga when Pogba almost signed with Barça until the deal fell through at the last minute.

Pogba is said to be a significant part of Juve's success throughout the years ever since he was acquired by the club from Manchester United in 2012 and senior team officials intend for him to continue with his top form with them for years to come if he decides so.

Caught Offside noted that incoming Blues head coach Antonio Conte is a long-time fan of Pogba since their days in Turin from 2012 to 2014 and the former Italian boss allegedly wants to bring the Frenchman with him at the Stamford Bridge next season.

Given Pogba's impressive performance this season, a move to England, Spain, or France will definitely catch his attention because of the impending financial gains and also the chance to play in what are considered as the best association football leagues in the world.

The report said that "the deadline imposed by Juve makes perfect sense, as ultimately the club need to know which players they can rely on heading into next season or whether they have to ramp up their activity in the summer transfer market and replace them".

Pogba scored 10 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions for Juve this season as he effectively played both offense and defense in the team's midfield.
