It has been weeks since fans saw the frustrating finale episode of series' sixth season. It can be remembered that the cliffhanger featured the entry of a new antagonist, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who is the leader of the group he calls as "saviors."

The episode shows how Rick and his crew got caught in the trap of Negan, and in the end, Negan smashed one of Rick's members using his bat, "Lucille." The cliffhanger did stimulate a lot of speculations on whether who Negan killed in the finale episode of the recent season.

Although no confirmation has been provided by the showrunners in terms of who received the batting of Negan in the finale episode, Screenrant reported that it might be Glenn (Steven Yeun) who got smashed in the head.

According to the report, Yeun will be joining stars namely Jake Gyllenhaul, Tilda Swinton, Paul Dano, Lily Collins, Yoon Je Moon, Choi Wooshik and more. The report also claims that "The Walking Dead" star is also set to take a role in Joe Lynch's action thriller, "Mayhem."

The same publication added that the involvement of Yeun in the said projects might give him a hard time in terms of his schedule to join the cast of "The Walking Dead" Season 7. With that said, speculations are pointing that it might be Yeun who got Negan's punishment.

On one hand, there are reports that viewers might see a new community in the anticipated "The Walking Dead" Season 7. During the last episodes of the previous season, Carol (Melissa McBride) was severely wounded by gunshots. Luckily, Morgan (Lennie James) was there to save her, and then a few moments later, two men with spears on their hand who are in a medieval-metal-battle-suit arrived. The men are rumored to be members of the community called "The Kingdom," which might play a big role in "The Walking Dead" Season 7.

The 7th season of "The Walking Dead" is reported to premiere on October.
