Colton Haynes, known as Arsenal, the trustworthy sidekick of Oliver Queen in Arrow, has revealed his sexuality during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

Haynes was also cast as Arsenal in CW Network's DC hero series Arrow. Arsenal was a fan favorite in the series, but Haynes opted to not renew his contract in Arrow's fourth season.
Haynes revealed that he has struggled with terminal anxiety all his life and suffered from fainting episodes from anxiety attacks. In addition, he also suffered from stomach ulcers.
Haynes checked himself into rehab to address these issues.
Last January, Haynes commented on a fan's social media post about his 'secret gay past.'
"Was it a secret? Let us all enjoy life and have no regrets," replied Haynes.
Hayne's response went viral and incited media speculation. However, the 'Arrow' star was not ready to open up about his sexuality.
Haynes said that he could have made an official statement after the incident, but felt that it was not the right time, and he did not owe anybody an explanation.
The 27-year-old actor said that his close friends and co-stars already knew his sexuality, but he chose to remain quiet about it because he was afraid of pressure from the public.
Nowadays, Haynes feels happier and in a better place as he is ready to disclose a part of his life to the world. The actor stated that he is healthier than he has ever been and that is all that matters.
