Justin Bieber has added some fresh new ink to his tatted body by getting a tattoo on his face! Yes, you heard that right!

The 22-year-old singer took to Instagram to share a photo of his new body art - a barely visible tiny black cross next to his right eye. "Resting up for the show in Philly it's gonna be a good one mark my words," Bieber captioned the picture.

The What Do You Mean? singer has more than 50 tattoos all over his body, including one that reads "Purpose" (in reference to his recent album), a pair of wings on his back, a crown and a cross on his chest.

Biebs got himself inked at celebrity tattoo artist Jonathan "JonBoy" Valena's tattoo studio West 4 Tattoo in New York City, where he recently made a stop on his Purpose World Tour.

"Yes, I did tattoo a small cross near the corner of Justin's eye," said Valena. "It was a representation of his faith in Jesus and his journey with finding purpose in God."

Earlier this year, when asked about getting a face tattoo, Bieber told GQ magazine that he would get one in the future.

"Maybe when I'm really old, not super old, but maybe, like, 40s or 50s or something," he said at the time. "One above my eyebrow or something small."

"I think if they're done right, they could be cool, but nothing super crazy all over the face," he added.
