Google is offering sports fans a chance to virtually tour the venues for the competitions in the upcoming Rio Olympics 2016, which will kick off in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this August.
Google Map will give fans a glimpse of the 25 indoor and 12 outdoor locations for the games this summer, and the feature promises to be easy.

"Using indoor maps is easy," the company wrote in a blog. "Just open Google Maps on your computer or mobile phone, search for a place that has indoor maps, zoom into the place, and click on it."
For example, 9to5 Google reported that fans could take a virtual visit to the renowned Maracana stadium, where the recent FIFA World Cup was held. People can also visit the new Future Arena (Arena do Futoro) and Olympic Golf Course and see different 360-degree views.
The map is specific, allowing fans to delve into each floor of the buildings. Other points of interest such as comfort rooms, information desks, ATMs, to name a few are highlighted on the map.
Google said it would continue to update its map to help those who will be going to Rio, particularly with commuting and avoiding places with heavy traffic.
Meanwhile, a new set of tickets for the fields of gymnastics, canoeing and rowing have been released on Thursday, the organizers announced. Some unspecified number of gate passes across different price categories will be available on the Rio Olympics 2016 website.
So far, the organizing committee has only sold 60 percent of the game's tickets, a figure that is considered low compared to the 2012 Summer Games in London. Factors such as recession, political turmoil, and the alarming Zika virus are allegedly brushing potential buyers away from visiting the South American country.
