Pornhub has launched a new bounty campaign that will find any security vulnerabilities of the site.

The popular adult video site invites people to hack its site in order to find any security risks in the system in exchange of $25,000. It joined world’s famous and biggest tech companies such as Uber to launch bug bounty program.

In beta testing for some time, the program is now open to everyone through HackerOne, a company that coordinates bug bounty programs, and Pornhub is offering rewards of between $50 and $25,000, depending on the severity of the flaw found. The plan was initiated during which around two dozen issues were identified and fixed.

"Like other major tech players have been doing as of late, we're tapping some of the most talented security researchers as a proactive and precautionary measure – in addition to our dedicated developer and security teams – to ensure not only the security of our site but that of our users, which is paramount to us," said Core Price, vice president of Pornhub, in a press release.

Those who want to join, they must be “white-hat hackers” or good hackers. They must first report the vulnerability, send a clear description of the issue and how to reproduce the vulnerability, include screenshots or proof of concept code, and disclose the bug exclusively to Pornhub. The website’s security team says that it may take a month to respond and up to three months to fix a given issue.

Pornhub has 60 million daily visitors, making it the second most popular adult entertainment site in the world, as last ranked by the Amazon-owned Internet analytics firm Alexa. The site has been targeted by hackers before, including a malicious advertising scheme in the fall of last year.
