"The M3 Note launch is a testament of our commitment toward our Indian fans. With the m3 note we are striving to re-energize the Indian sub-10k category by offering a power packed product at an affordable price point," the company's India Marketing Head Leon Zhang said during the launch ceremony in New Delhi on Wednesday. "The m3 note is geared towards the Indian youth, who are looking for a seamless user experience, backed by a robust OS and exquisite craftsmanship."
The M3 Note, a budget smartphone, runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop Operating System (OS)-based Flyme UI. It comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB memory (which can be expanded to 128 GB) and 4,100mAh battery. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Helio P10 octa-core.
The 5mm-thin handset, having a 5.5-inch high definition display, also features 13MP rear and 5MP front camera. It is 0.5mm thinner than the previous generation ( m3 note) and 32 percent bigger than the previous one.
The launch of the M3 Note in India expanded Meizu's product portfolio in the country. It's flagship handset the MX5 and two other devices - m2 note and m2 - have already been launched in the country. The company entered Indian market in 2015.
