After launching the ZTE Zmax 2 smartphone just last September 2015, it looks like ZTE USA is preparing to unveil a new member to the Zmax line-up called the Zmax Pro.
According to the latest rumors, the ZTE Zmax Pro is expected to feature a 6.0-inch display screen with a 1,080 x 1,920 pixel resolution (Full HD). The device is said to have a fingerprint sensor, a feature which is not found in the previous models.

Under the hood, the Zmax Pro is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in memory. The phone will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.
As for the camera, the device is said to have a 13 megapixel camera on the back and a 5 megapixel camera on the front. There is no word on how much the ZTE Zmax Pro will cost, however, like the first Zmax model, the device is expected to be available via T-Mobile in the United States.
To compare, the ZTE Zmax 2 came out last year on AT&T with a 5.5-inch display screen with a 720 x 1,280 pixel resolution, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing shooter. Inside, this phone packs a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and a 3,000 mAh battery. The ZTE Zmax 2 comes with a price tag of $149 sans-contract.
In the meantime, the Chinese company is also planning to unveil another smartphone this month called the ZTE Axon 7 as a new member to the Axon line-up. It is said that this phone will be announced on May 26th.
