The happiness that Nicki Minaj and boyfriend Meek Mill felt during his birthday earlier this month appeared to have ended right away.

In its report, E! Online revealed that the 33-year-old "Super Bass" singer is currently facing a lawsuit filed by her ex-beau Safaree Samuels, and it was even her who announced it on Twitter.

"Tweeted on the 5th that the 6th was my baby's bday," the "Starships" performer's first tweet read. "Celebrated on the 6th for his bday (publicly). Served w/a lawsuit on the 9th. lol."

In a follow-up, she wrote, "Two years later this poor excuse of a man is suing me & claiming to have been physically & emotionally abused. Lol. He's so miserable."

Amid these accusations of his ex, Meek Mill's ladylove claimed that Samuels filed a case because he just wanted to "extort" her. It can be noted that Nicki Minaj, who used to be a close pal of Drake before his feud with her boyfriend, dated with Samuels for 12 before they called it quits in 2014.

"LIKE I CANT EVEN CELEBRATE MY MAN BDAY W/O THIS MISERABLE SON OF A BITCH TRYING TO EXTORT ME!!!!!" she added. "Caught him stealing money and never prosecuted him!!!! Now I'm DOING IT. ENOUGH!!!!!!"

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj disclosed that Meek Mill already "asked him to stop emailing me. I also asked him several times. This man can't move on. It's really sad. I have the emails to prove it."

Later on, the "Anaconda" artist gave a warning by saying, "U were abused my nigga? Look @ what you've become. Gods wrath is no joke. You will regret every lie u said about me."

Meanwhile, Drake, whose feud with Meek Mill reportedly ruined his friendship with Nicki Minaj, is making waves these days because of his latest album, "Views From The 6," which is now streaming on Tidal and Spotify as well.
