After the sweet birthday greeting of Rihanna to Chris Brown made headlines, it appeared that things just turned different these days.

According to Us Weekly, the "plot thickens" between the on-again, off-again couple after it was noted that the 27-year-old "With You" singer deleted a video of his daughter Royalty dancing with "Sesame Street" character Elmo to the tune of the 28-year-old artist's hit single "Work."

"ELMO TRIPPING wit the song selection," the singer captioned his post. "NO SHADE. Where's the Chris BROWN MUSIC. LOL."

Did he just diss the Barbados-born performer?

It can be recalled that during Chris Brown's birthday on May 5, Rihanna greeted him along with good words to describe him, as reported by Hollywood Life.

Based on the entertainment site's source's narration, "Ri was full of compliments" towards the "Kiss Kiss" singer, whose daughter is already turning two this coming May 27.

"She told him how proud of him she is and made clear that he's matured greatly," the unnamed insider continued.

It was also revealed that Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, even told Chris Brown, a performer from Tappahannock, Virginia "to keep coming with the hits and gave him the biggest complement of all by telling him he's still sexy as fuck."

The source further disclosed that he "is so spoiled" considering the love he has been getting from the "Love the Way You Lie" singer and Royalty.

"He got mad birthday love from his two favorite girls - Ro Ro (Royalty) and RiRi. Ri called him and wished him a happy birthday while he was playing with his daughter," the source claimed about Rihanna and Chris Brown.
