Victoria Justice Seeks Legal Action Over Hacked Nude Photos

(Photo : Reuters) Former Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice seek legal action after being a victim in the massive celebrity photo hacking where nude photos purported to be hers went viral on social media.
Former Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice said she will initiate legal action after being victimized in a massive celebrity photo hacking where nude photos purported to be hers went viral online.
The actress and songwriter said the nude photos which were first posted on Sunday on social sites Reddit and 4chan.

Justice said that she would seek punishment for whoever did the malicious act and expressed her sentiments on her Twitter account last September 2. The celebrity tweeted, “Shortly after I tweeted about certain pics of me being fake, I was faced with a serious violation of privacy. There have always been fake photos of me on the internet, but I will not be put in the position to defend myself as to what is real or what is fake. I am angry at this massive invasion of privacy, and like the other women who are in this situation alongside of me, I am taking legal action to protect my rights.”
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is currently probing the matter. Other celebrities who are also seeking legal action included Kate Upton and Jennifer Lawrence, who have also been victims of the massive celebrity photo hacking.
According to Kate Upton’s lawyer Lawrence Shire, interviewed by HuffPost Entertainment, they would pursue legal action against those spreading and duplicating the leaked photos. Her lawyers added the leaked photos were an outrageous violation of her privacy.
Meanwhile, JLaw’s representative told HuffPost that the photo hacking was a clear violation of the celebrity’s privacy. The spokesperson added that they have addressed the matter with the authorities and will take necessary legal action against those who post the leaked photographs of Lawrence.
Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney was also a target of the photo hacking after nude photographs of her went viral over the weekend. Maroney claimed the leaked photos were fake. However, a report from TMZ said her lawyers already mailed Porn.com to immediately remove the photos on the website. Maroney’s lawyers informed that the gymnast was under 18 on the photos shown.
