Telenovela star Eva Longoria will guest star in the season 4 of the comedy-drama series Devious Maids, which she also is an executive producer of.

In the promo video for Devious Maids' Season 4, Longoria can be seen lying in a pool of her blood. Fans of the Desperate Housewives actress should not be sad to see Longoria gone so soon as the scene only takes place on set.

Longoria will play herself in the show, and the bloody scene, which the sneak peek shows her in, is simply her playing the role of a murdered maid.

The season 4 preview also shows Carmen Luna's (Roselyn Sanchez) foray into motherhood. Based on this, it appears that Carmen's past will catch up with her in Devious Maids season 4.

The upcoming season will also introduce Sol Rodriguez, who will play Daniela in Devious Maids. Sanchez took to Twitter to officially welcome Sol into the TV show family. Although Rodriguez might be playing Carmen's little sister, she could also very well be the baby Carmen gave up for adoption back then.

Rodriguez's role is described as a "sexy, fun and predictable Latina," who, just like Carmen, has big dreams of making it into Hollywood. With a storyline like this for Rodriguez, it is possible that Carmen and Daniela will become rivals without knowing what their real relationship to each other is.

In other Devious Maids Season 4 news, there is talk that there will be a main character who will be meeting his or her demise, as the season 4 teaser showed a hand wearing gloves stabbing someone with a knife while a female voice could be heard in the background.
