The fifth "Transformers" movie has a new working title: "Transformers: The Last Knight."

This was announced by no less than director Michael Bay in his Instagram account, Variety reported.

Bay's announcement confirmed Paramount's disclosure last February that the release dates for the fifth, sixth and seventh "Transformers" movies are scheduled in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

"Transformers: The Last Knight," which is set to premiere on June 23, 2017, will start shooting in Cuba next week.

Other parts of the movie will also be shot in Detroit.

As expected, Mark Wahlberg will reprise his lead role as Cade Yaeger in the film.  Shia LaBeouf starred in the first three films.

In January, Bay announced that he will be directing the fifth "Transformers" movie.

The 51-year-old director helmed the franchise's four films, which has earned a staggering $3.7 million worldwide.

"Transformers: Age of Extinction," the fourth installment in the series, grossed $245 million domestically and $858 million internationally in 2014.

In the meantime, Josh Duhamel is making a comeback as Lieutenant Colonel Lennox in "Transformers: The Last Knight," according to Den of Geek.

Duhamel gained a huge following among fans after appearing in the first three Transformers movies, but was visibly absent from the fourth.

"Transformers: The Last Knight" will be produced by Steven Spielberg and written by Akiva Goldsman.

Den of Geek likewise revealed that the sixth "Transformers" movie, which will be released sometime in 2018, will supposedly be a Bumblebee solo movie.

Aside from "Transformers: The Last Knight," Paramount is also developing a shared universe that will feature fan favorites "GI Joe," "MASK," and "ROM: Spaceknight."
