Forbes magazine has just named "Modern Family" actress Sofia Vergara as the highest-paid TV actress in the United States for the third consecutive year.
Vergara, who has earned $325,000 for each episode of "Modern Family" earned around $37 million between June 2013 and June 2014.

Aside from the earnings she has made through her comedy series, the Colombian actress has also earned millions through endorsement deals with huge brands such as Cover Girl, Kmart and Diet Pepsi.
Vergara adds to her burgeoning wealth through other business ventures, such as Latin World Entertainment, the talent management and entertainment marketing company she co-founded.
Aside from her lucrative career, Vergara has a lot to celebrate when it comes to her personal life as well. The voluptuous star is currently dating Joe Manganiello of "True Blood" fame.
She recently attended the Emmys without her equally hot beau, but jokingly quipped, "He's really hot, that's why I didn't bring him. He's too hot, too tall, he takes a lot of space, so I'm like, 'Listen Joe, please don't come.' Too handsome, too sexy."
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" Emmy winner Mariska Hargitay comes in second in the list. Hargitay earns $450,000 for each episode of the drama series. She earned a total of $13 million last year.
"Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting earned $11 million. However, she may easily take over the number one spot this following year as Warner Bros. agreed to pay her $1 million per episode for her role as Penny in the comedy series.
Other actresses included in the list are Ellen Pompeo of "Grey's Anatomy"; Lena Dunham, the creator and star of "Girls"; "The Good Wife" actress Julianna Margulies; Cobie Smulders and Alyson Hannigan of "How I Met Your Mother"; Mindy Kaling of "The Mindy Project", "Parks and Recreation" star Amy Poehler; Claire Danes; Kerry Washington; Zooey Deschanel, and Courteney Cox.
