The Walking Dead season 7 is currently in production and rumors from the set suggest one major character survived season 6's finale where Negan beat someone up to death with his spiked bat, Lucille.

According to Design & Trend, The Spoiling Dead Fans' Facebook page posted a major story arc for The Walking Dead's season 7. Based on the post, it appears that beloved character Daryl Dixon, played by Norman Reedus, will survive the scary ordeal brought about by Negan.

While there were previous reports suggesting why Daryl is the most likely character to be killed off, the publication said that their sources are confident that Daryl is safe and will be indeed returning for The Walking Dead season 7.

In fact, just on May 16 and 20, Reedus was reportedly spotted filming scenes for the horror drama series alongside Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Austin Amelio, who play Negan and Dwight, respectively.

Regarding the plot, it seems that Daryl will be held captive by the Saviors, not long after the events which transpired in the gory season 6 finale.

Meanwhile, in other The Walking Dead spoilers, sources reveal a scene in which a Savior is going rogue, and attempts to flee the compound. This escape results in a car chase, which was reportedly shot from May 17 to May 20. In one of these scenes, sources say that Dwight was spotted sporting Daryl's vest.

The filming of The Walking Dead season 7 has been going for a month already, and this is the first somewhat legit spoiler that fans can hold on to for their zombie drama fix, after grappling on the edge of their seats not knowing who was beat up to death by Negan.

Season 7 of The Walking Dead will premiere in October.
