Kristen Stewart and former assistant-turned girlfriend Alicia Cargile were spotted shopping in Los Angeles on Sunday. Stewart reportedly got back together with her assistant-ex after giving singer Stéphanie Sokolinski (aka Soko) the boot.

The child star, who rose to fame after starring as Bella in the Twilight movie franchise, reportedly dumped Soko after she bumped into former beau Robert Pattinson at the Met Gala.

"Seeing Rob at the Met Gala helped Kristen come to terms with ending her relationship with Soko," a pal of Stewart told Hollywood Life. "She realized that she still hasn't found that deep connection with anyone since she was with Rob."

According to the pal, Pattinson was her "soulmate," and the connection she once had with him is what she is trying to find in her current partner. "Hanging out with Rob, even for just a small amount of time, reminded her that what she's really yearning for is a soul bond. She's okay with holding out until she finds that kind of love," the source said.

Pattinson broke up with Stewart after she was caught cheating with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. Although the two attempted to reconcile a few times, they eventually decided to go their separate ways.

As for Soko, it was just in March when she told W magazine that she and Stewart are much in love and happy.

"If you find one partner who you love having sex with, it's the best!" Soko said. "I've always been open with my sexuality, meaning I don't really care about gender. So yeah, ladies have definitely been crass, too. I prefer when it's girls saying things like that than guys. But also I'm up for it. Sex for so long was such a taboo thing. You couldn't be free with your sexuality and say that you like it. But it's one of the biggest joys of life."

Unfortunately for Soko, Stewart was looking for more than just intimacy and has moved on to Cargile. However, the same cannot be said for Soko. Based on her recent social media post, it appears that the singer is having a hard time moving on from the breakup. Without dropping names, she posted, "CHEATER. F****** CHEATER."

Meanwhile, in other Stewart and Pattinson news, there are rumors making rounds that the two are planning to get back together. Apparently, Rob's fiancée singer FKA Twigs reached out to Stewart to help her convince Pattinson to shape up.

Stewart and Twigs are apparently in a good place. Gossip Cop cleared the rumors and said that Stewart has no plans of using the opportunity to reunite with Pattinson.

In fact, a source revealed that "Kristen just wants nothing but happiness for Rob, having hurt him all those years ago and she believes Taliah [Twigs] is just what he deserves. From what she could see they are perfect for one another, and when they greeted each other it was all very pleasant, and there was no animosity now because it's all water under the bridge."
