Anne Hathaway has joined the rank of celebrities who have slammed the Kardashian family. However, she insists that her diss was not intentional.
American's sweetheart dissed the Kardashian clan in an Instagram post, which has now been deleted. In the post, it appears that Hathaway was trying to inspire fans to look up to actress Helena Bonham Carter rather than the famous reality stars.

Hathaway reportedly took to her personal Instagram account to share a meme saying, "In a world of Kardashians, be a Helena Bonham Carter." While it seemed harmless, fans became enraged and claimed that the 33-year old actress was "pitting women against one another."
Perez Hilton reported on the news and mentioned an Instagram user who seemed to be pretty annoyed with the diss. The user wrote, "Really Anne? You don't have to put other people down to bring someone up."
After the social media outrage, the Les Miserables actress immediately deleted the photo and replaced it with another in which she said in the caption that what she posted did not have any intention to cause drama.
She wrote, "It never occurred to me I was pitting anyone against each other. Not my style. Peace x." The Instagram photo had the words, "Post removed for unintentional shade thrown."
But while some fans were angry with Hathaway's post, there were also many who praised her for encouraging girls to be different. One user with the handle @lil_floobit said, "I didn't see it as shade against the Kardashians. I see it as encouraging girls and women to embrace being different if they feel they don't fit into what's considered 'normal' and 'beautiful' these days."
Meanwhile, it appears that not only Hathaway is fed up with the Kardashians. A meme has been going around, wherein Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner also threw shade at the Kardashians.
In what seems to be an interview with a few cast members of Game of Thrones, which included Alfie Allen, Conleth Hill, Hannah Murray and Sophie Turner, they were asked the question, "Which show would you like to crossover with?" to which Turner answered, "The Kardashians. So we could kill them."
