Heavyweight fighter Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal has been very vocal about his happiness when Scott Coker, the man he worked with in Strikeforce, took control of Bellator from former CEO Bjorn Rebney.

The fighter even went on to call Rebney foul names saying that he will give the man a beating if ever their paths crossed.

As a sign of his approval with the new management, the wrestler signed an extension with the company and is scheduled to face Dustin Jacoby at the Mohegan Sun in Conneticut this Friday.

Lawal thinks that everybody was happy when Rebney left stating that there's a change in energy. He has been very expressive on how he does not like Rebney just like how he wants Coker to take charge.

The 33-year-old mixed martial artist claimed that the best years of his career were under Coker's administration in Strikeforce before being replaced by Zuffa.

"[Coker] is respectful," Lawal stated. "He is a martial artist so he is respectful of the hard work we put in. You won't see him bash fighters. And, he's just truthful. A lot of guys in this sport are far from truthful."

On Friday, Lawal will face a man with the same capabilities as himself. Jacoby's excellent kickboxing skills will clash against Lawal's knockout prowess and grappling skills.

"King Mo" had the best of his career back in 2010 when he won the Strikeforce title from Gerard Mousasi in April. Many critics think that his upcoming match is very crucial for his career which has been on the down side for almost four years.

To prepare himself for Jacoby's arsenal, Lawal trained with American Top Team to hone his readiness for the expected strikes of his opponent.

Lawal stressed that he is been working with kickboxers, and that is why he is confident to win the fight.
