(Photo : Mortal Kombat X Official) Warner Bros Interactive announced that "Mortal Kombat X," which was first released in April for next generation consoles namely PS4, Xbox One and the PC, will no longer land to Sony's PS3 and Microsoft's Xbox 360.
"Kombat Pack 3" for "Mortal Kombat X" is going to be available sooner than expected, which is due to most fans' request that the downloadable content should be released next rather than releasing "Mortal Kombat 11."
According to Christian Times, supporters of the franchise have long been asking the game's creator and developer, Ed Boon and NetherRealm, to release the "Kombat Pack 3" DLC. It is said that when Boon gave a poll to fans asking them on what they would want, the choices were "Mortal Kombat 11," "Shaolin Monks," and "Kombat Pack 3." The result surprised Boon as he did not expect that the DLC for "Mortal Kombat X" would be able to surpass the sequel and "Shaolin Monks" in such as large distance, gaining 44 percent of the total fan votes.

Even if Boon hasn't released any statement yet relating to the status of "Kombat Pack 3," fans of the franchise are optimistic about the creator's commitment to release the DLC in a short period of time, given that Boon already has an idea what fans want based on the survey he conducted.
On the other hand, there have been rumors that the biggest thorn on Batman's Gotham City, The Joker, will be included in the awaited "Kombat Pack 3." Speculations are loud that the villain is indeed among the characters to be introduced in the upcoming downloadable content, This Gen Gaming reported.
The inclusion of Joker in the "Mortal Kombat" franchise is said to be possible, given that the developer of "Injustice" is also NetherRealm. It can be recalled that the developer did include Scorpion in the roster of "Injustice," which is why there is a high probability that Joker will be in the line-up for "Kombat Pack 3" DLC.
Other characters predicted to appear in "Kombat Pack 3" DLC includes Baraka, Rain and Sindel; however, it is said that they will only be included in the story mode, and will not be available for gameplay.
