Cellar dwellers Changchun Yatai FC (1-6-3, 6 points) is scheduled to host middling squad Shijiazhuang Ever Bright FC (2-4-4, 10 points) in a 2016 Chinese Super League season match at their home field of Development Area Stadium on Sunday, May 29.

Changchun is currently at the bottom of the China top flight table as they opened their season with nine consecutive winless performances. They finally won a game in the 10th round of competitions, but are still at the cellar of the standings, two points below 15th-placed team Liaoning Whowin FC.

New manager Lee Jang-soo will try to follow up on the team's 1-0 road win over another middling team, Guangzhou R&F, at the Yuexiushan Stadium last Sunday to build their first winning run in this term, via Xinhuanet.

One of their imports, Bolivian striker Marcelo Martins Moreno, netted the lone goal of the contest at the 74th minute off an assist by Taiwanese defender Yaki Yen to hand the visitors their first win of the season.

Meanwhile, Shijiazhuang Ever Bright settled to a 1-1 draw with capital city team Beijing Guoan FC at their home ground of Yutong International Sports Center also last Sunday, as per Soccerway.

Goalkeeper Guan Zhen scored the opening goal of the match with a successful penalty kick at the 38th minute to give the hosts a 1-0 lead at the half.

The Imperial Guards answered at the 53rd with a shot from Brazilian import Renato Augusto from a cross by teammate Zhang Xiaobin.

It was Shijiazhuang's second straight drawn match of the season after a two-game losing slide, which means they are currently on a four-game winless streak.

The predicted result is a close 1-0 decision for Changchun Yatai to net their second straight win.
