Mourinho and Guardiola will renew their competition in the pre-season International Champions Cup.The two decorated tacticians had epic contests when Guardiola was in charge of Barcelona and Mourinho was the head at Real Madrid.
The famous rivalry is expected to be just as fierce between the two in the Premier League next season. City has performed better than United in the league for about three seasons.
United claimed their 12th FA Cup this month after they beat Crystal Palace 2-1. Meanwhile, City won the 2016 Football League Cup Final after thrashing Liverpool 3-1 in February.
Mourinho has already won eight major football leagues trophies while Guardiola has six under his belt. The Portuguese mentor has seven domestic cups and four super cups under his name while the Spaniard boss had secured four domestic and three super cups.
Guardiola and Mourinho have won two Champions League apiece. While United's new manager has claimed one UEFA Cup title, Guardiola does not have one yet.
Machester City's incoming manager has bagged three UEFA Super Cups and three Club World Cups in his coaching career. Overall Mourinho has won 22 major trophies and Guardiola has claimed 21.
