Avid fans of OnePlus 3 have something to smile about since the smartphone manufacturer announced that its flagship phone would be launched in two weeks time. The device is scheduled to roll out in China during a conference that commences on June 15 at 10 a.m. Chinese time.
Customers in America can watch the event on June 14 at 10 p.m. on the East Coast and at 7 p.m. on the West Coast. OnePlus officially confirmed this information via a Chinese official blog, claiming that OnePlus 3 will be central to the event.

In the teaser, the manufacturer celebrated June 1, which the International Children's Day. As a call for action, the company asked children from a few different nations to draw the OnePlus 3 device. The outcomes are endearing and worth watching.
It is not the first time OnePlus has organized its release ceremonies late at night U.S. time. The company released OnePlus on July 27, 2015 at 11 p.m. EDT. However, the OnePlus 3 will meet fans a bit earlier this time round.
The release will be ordinary since the manufacturer has refrained from organizing an exceptional launch. OnePlus invites all fans to a virtual reality presentation that will happen in the specially crafted loop space station. The presentation is best enjoyed through VR headsets, and the company already distributed 30,000 Loop VR devices to avid fans.
There have been constant leaks of images revealing that OnePlus 3 will come with USB Type-C, besides the 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone will sport a 5-inch 1080 pixel display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, a 16MP main camera, an 8MP front camera, 6 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of storage capacity, according to Techno Buffalo. Apart from the 6 GB of RAM/64 GB variant, OnePlus 3 will also come in a 4 GB of RAM/32 GB of storage.
OnePlus 3 has a camera similar to what was spotted on Samsung Galaxy S6. There are chances that the upcoming device will not adopt the design of its precursors, OnePlus One and OnePlus 2, but it will sport HTC 10's design.
With regard to the said design, OnePlus 3 will feature a sleek design, come with a glass front, and a black textured material at the back. The smartphone will have a home button double the size of a fingerprint scanner. It is evident from the leaked images that the phone will have its power button on the right hand side and the volume buttons on the left hand side.
It is possible that the much-awaited smartphone will ship with two speakers. Fans will have hands on an Android 6.0.1-based OxygenOS 3.0 with the upcoming device. As if that is not enough, the OnePlus 3 comes with a 35mAh battery.
