Manchester United are expected to complete the signing of striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the Swedish national left Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season and the deal could be concluded before the Euro 2016 kicks off.
The club's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and the player's representatives are said to be finalizing terms on a one-year contract.

United's interest in the striker was first reported in May, ahead of Mourinho's appointment to replace Louis Van Gaal as head coach butc ontract talks between the club and Ibrahimovic's agent, Mino Raiola, intensified following Jose Mourinho's appointment as Manchester United manager. United is the only club Ibrahimovic has been considering due to his close friendship with the manager, having previously worked with him at Inter Milan.
Ibrahimovic will be Mourinho's first signing for the reds as their manager and the 34-year-old is expected to be the only striker that the ex-Chelsea boss will sign this summer in order to allow youngster Marcus Rashford to continue his meteoric rise next season.
Mourinho is keen to give Rashford and other kids plenty of opportunities next season. He is conscious of the need to continue the club's legacy of bringing through young players into the senior team and reportedly also passed on a chance to sign Leicester striker Jamie Vardy for this reason.
Ibrahimovic is said to have received lucrative offers from the Chinese Super League club, as well as other clubs in Italy, but Mourinho's presence at United has tilted the scales in their favor. He has previously played for Malmo FF, Ajax, PSG, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona and AC Milan.
