Xiaomi Redmi 3 Successors Spotted on TENAA

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is apparently planning to debut some new smartphones in the market soon. Some upcoming smartphones from the company, alleged to be the successors to the Xiaomi Redmi 3, have been spotted on the China's telecommunication equipment certification authority, (TENAA).

The TENAA listings revealed three smartphones with the model numbers 2016036, 2016035, 2016030. The upcoming devices will each have a massive internal memory storage and a fingerprint scanner at the back panel.
Two of the upcoming smartphones have been dubbed the Redmi 3A and Redmi 3S. The TENAA listing revealed that these smartphones will feature a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) LCD display. These devices are said to be powered by an Octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with 2GB of RAM, and comes with Adreno 405 GPU onboard.
The built-in storage on the two smartphones is said to be 16GB and 32GB memory, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. Connectivity options of the handsets include 4G LTE Network, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi support.
On the camera front, the upcoming devices are expected to sport a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. These smartphones are expected to run on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box and will b e packed with a massive 4000mAh capacity battery inside. The upcoming devices measure a body dimension 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5mm and weigh 143 grams.
Xiaomi will offer Silver, Grey, and Gold colour variants of these smartphone, and they are expected to be priced cheaper than the Redmi 3. Xiaomi released the Redmi 3 in January, priced at CNY 699 (USD $106.45).
